The Bar Counter was conceived of as a range designed to bring coherence to the snack bar category in Australia's major supermarkets. Until the launch of Bar Counter, this sector presented as a jumble of brands and products with no cogent structure evident to the consumer.
Packaging strategy and design.
The Bar Counter created a clear structure aligned to the consumer decision making process. Key benefits are colour coded and product call-outs placed, literally, front and centre.
The black base and bright contrasting colours created a powerful impact on shelf – especially as the range was merchandised across an entire shelf.
